Alice Canale is a freelance print designer and illustrator based in Falmouth, Cornwall.

Originally from rural Sussex, she spent her childhood surrounded by bluebell filled woodlands and rolling hills, carrying this early love of nature into her work. 

Having graduated in illustration from Falmouth University, Alice embarked on on a successful career in fashion working in-house for Alexander McQueen, Tommy Hilfiger (in Amsterdam) and as head of design for the luxury nightwear brand Desmond & Dempsey. Since going freelance, Alice has worked for clients including H&M, Reiss, Gail’s bakery, and Amazon prime video.

Her intricate illustrations and patterns are often inspired by the botanical world, warm and balmy climates and exotic animals; Alice always aims to bring a sense of joy to her artworks, creating fun and dreamy narratives which capture the imagination of her audience.
